Second beach trip

We went to Crystal Cove and it was BEAUTIFUL! Bryce is now in love with the beach. We couldn't keep him out of the water and from yelling at others to get in with him, haha. I wish I could have taken a video of him yelling at the older ladies saying, "look peach! baba wawa come on!" It was pretty adorable. More beach trips soon, I think so!

First beach trip!

A couple weeks ago Jesse, Bryce and I headed over to Laguna Beach for our first family beach trip!

Bryce really hated the beach at first (as shown in the last photo, haha) but it grew on him when he was able to play in the sand and get it EVERYWHERE. He still cried every time his dad went in for a swim :( I'm hoping that if we go more often, he will start to enjoy it a bit more.

Blossom Festival

On Saturday, we took a late trip over to the blossom festival in Oak Glen. We got there at about 2pm and had already missed all of the festivities :( We still scored on some yummy baked goods, candy and jam.

Bryce was getting super antsy, so we went out to the fields and let him run around while Jesse got some photos of the pretty flowers. After a few minutes, Bryce tripped while running away from me and got a booboo on that adorable little face. So, we packed everything up and headed home early.

It was such a beautiful family day.

Stylin!

Oh..

This little guy right here is now 13 months old!

I know I probably say this every month, but I can't believe how big he is.

It was very cloudy and rainy this week, so Bry and I mostly stayed inside with our jammies on. We played Just Dance, hide and seek and I attempted to read my book to him. He is just not as interested in The Song of Ice and Fire saga as me. By the way, is anyone else obsessed with A Game of Thrones?

Egg hunting

Bryce was too cute running all around his Grandma Train's yard! At first, he was really excited to find the eggs, but after awhile he started the throw then around, crush them, and try to eat them whole... Haha. By the way! Doesn't his Meema dress her grand baby so well? Thanks, Meema<3

Sickums

Last week, I asked my mom to watch Bryce so I could take Jesse out for a romantic (and delicious) birthday dinner. Turns out she had the stomach flu. She gave it to little Bry guy and he gave it to me. So we have been here, being sick together and trying to prevent Daddy from getting sick because he has finals this week.

What have you all been up to this?

 Hopefully not home sick like us.

Santa Rosa

For some reason, we thought that since Bryce could walk, he could hike. Man, were we wrong. It was so beautiful in Santa Rosa but it's not as fun when you are carrying around a baby who is kicking and screaming. All Bryce wanted to do was play in the dirt, so on our way back up a trail we laid in the grass and let him play for a good 10 minutes. He even shared some of his rocks with mommy :) This made for a little happy camper and we were able to get back to the car with little fuss.

I will glady wait another 2 years before we attempt at hiking with Bryce again.

Oh! And you can see Bryce modeling his first real pair of shoes. He looks so cute in them!

Baby time

I think Bryce and I are addicted to taking webcam photos. Everyday we take a some pictures and a video and laugh at how silly we look. He is so perfect and I wouldn't have him any other way :D

It's March!

 I haven't posted since Febuary :(
March is a big month for our family. Especially for birthdays. The biggest of all being Bryce's 1st, this Saturday!  It's also St. Patrick's day! Even though I'm not Irish, I love me some corned beef and a good beer. And SPRING BREAK!  Who doesn't love that?

Our little love day

I woke up extra early to make some special heart shaped pancakes for my boys. Bryce loved them and really didn't want to share with mommy. While Jesse was at work, Bry and I decorated the apartment to surprise him. While Jesse and I went out to Mimi's Cafe, Bryce had a special date with his Meema, he looked quite dapper! It was really a fun and loving day.

I've been bad again and neglecting my pretty blog. I'm excited to get back in and catch up on everything. New month, new beginnings!

A little update.

Things have been very busy around the Train household. With Jesse going to school and working we don't get to hang as much. So I'm managing with seeing him a lot less which is always hard for me. He did get a new lens a few weeks ago and has been taking some amazing photos. Can't wait to share.

Bryce is extremely active. He walks all over the house and gets into things he's not supposed to. He loves playing hide and seek. That smile and laugh can really cheer me up.

I have been going to school, it's pretty easy right now but it can only get more intense right? I've been sticking to my food plan. We have cut out red meats and we are seeing a lot more veggies. I feel so much healthier already. My biggest struggle has been finding time for exercise. I try to take Beep on walks but it's been so windy. Hoping to shed 10 pounds by V day :)

Guess who is a 10 month old?

This little cutie!

He is a walkaholic, king of the Frankenstein. I'm so proud of him.

Most of my day is filled answering his "what's dat?" question, which doesn't bother me one bit.

He loves to call his meema and talk to her on the phone.

But as I'm sure you can tell, he just keeps getting cuter! :D

A new year
